The effectiveness of a strategy based integration between the Circular house shape and the Cornell model in the development of the second grade preparatory students' achievement of social studies course and their attitudes towards it.
Abstract
The study aims to identify the effectiveness of a strategy based integration between the circular house shape and the Cornell model in the development of the second grade preparatory students' achievement and their attitudes towards social studies. The sample of the study consisted of 60 female students of the second grade preparatory. Thirty students represented the experimental group and studied using the proposal Strategy based on the integration between the shape of the circular house and the Cornell model. OtherThirty students represented the conservative group and studied using the traditional approach of teaching. An achievement test and a dimensional attitude scale were applied to the study sample (experimental and control). The study found that there were statistically significant differences (0.05a≤) between the average scores of the experimental group students and the scores of the conservative group students in the achievement test and the attitude scale in favor of the experimental group.
